Hello, my name is Michael Drotar and I am really loving these handles. Tonight I did trap bar deadlifts using these handles. I did 5 sets of 8 to 10 reps using the orange bands shown in the attached photo, and I am really feeling it right now. The tension is very close to constant for the entire movement. I used silicone spray on the footplate slot to create less friction, and it definitely feels very similar to free weights. So many other handles add to much slack. These handles are a game changer.
I love my new Harambe Handles. They are very versatile. I have elbow issues. Being able to slightly tweak the grip angle (for curls) have increased strength and muscle definition without pain. It’s a win/win!!!
You can bench and deadlift with the black rope, the white rope you can do sitting shoulder presses and front squats and the blue squats and SQUATS!!! 💪🏻
I had bought some cheap handles to use with the cyber plate...but it just didn't feel the same as the bar did. The knitting on these is just excellent and it just completes the entire kit.
I’m absolutely loving these handles, they have opened up a ton of new exercises that are going to help me grow, they’ve kept everything fresh and new so you don’t get stuck in a rut with training, the handles are such high quality and the knurling is perfect, super grippy but also very comfortable. I highly recommend these handles for anyone who is looking to expand their Harambe System 🦍💪🏻
Ropes! Who would have thought? This is truly the most innovative design I’ve ever seen for resistance band training. They’re amazing! Great job Khalid!
I should have added these long ago. They add a whole new range of tension from the bands and are great for fine tuning the load. They really let me do a smoother transition as I slowly but surely get stronger.
Works great. Price seems a bit high for this particular product, but I am sure as Harambe grows, they will find some savings where it makes sense. Happy with this purchase.
These beautiful curved rods are probably my second most favorite thing about the Harambe System after the K bar. The quality and craftsmanship put into these rods is bar none! These are the cream of the crop when it comes to pure quality. With such a high tension capacity rating one will never have to worry about these rods ever bending nor breaking. Another thing I enjoy about these rods is that they can be converted into handles with a minor modification of adding a rock climbing carabiner. These stainless steel curved rods just feels so comfortable on my hands and the way it's curved makes it feel natural to grip on my hand making them really good as band handles. I love everything about these rods and they are well worth every penny!
I previously purchased cheaper handles and these are worth every penny. Resistance is so much smoother and exercises feel way better. Love my Harambe system!
Pricey, but the best handles I've had so far. As far as I know, they are the only handles you can load with heavy resistance bands. Also, the knurling feels really good. All in all, I don't regret the purchase.
