Introducing the Harambe System Squat Belt – the ultimate solution for squat training when your back needs a break. Crafted from ultra-durable ballistic nylon and padded with high-spec EVA foam for exceptional comfort, this belt is designed to remove upper body strain from split squats. By attaching resistance bands to the belt via the Harambe Slings and triangle carabiners, you can effectively eliminate the need for a bar, engaging only the lower body. Adjust rope lengths to customize the resistance, allowing for a fully personalized and focused lower body workout.

I had been using a squat belt from another company and didn’t feel I needed to get this belt. But after seeing Khalid’s business practices, I trusted what he was delivering. So I bought it. Wow! Night and day! Coupled with the Harambe System (as it should be), I’m hitting muscles and doing exercises that I thought couldn’t be performed with the “letter-number” belt. Great job Khalid!
For the exercise for which this belt is designed, (split squats) It works one hundred percent—exactly as it's supposed to, and if you use enough resistance it will kick your rear…
I was on the fence about this belt but when the belt bundle came out I jumped on it and I’m so glad I did. This belt is high quality just like everything else Harambe makes, I was humbled very quickly with this squat belt as it worked my legs especially my hamstrings in a way I’ve never felt before. My legs were smoked after the first workout using it. It does take a little getting use to but once you use it a few times it becomes super easy and the workout options are great. It fits nice and snug and is very comfortable. I couldn’t be happier and at $70 for the belt, rods and ropes it’s an incredible deal. Thank you Harambe for everything you guys do for us! 🫶🏻🦍
Love this! I use it for regular squats and it is terrific. Fits snuggly, bands are easy to put on and the buckle is super easy to use. I highly recommend it.
I’m a woman, as the other negative reviews state, it doesn’t fit smaller/shorter bodies well. It’s so large, I can’t actually squat because its too rigid, too large, and bruises where it sits.
I had a traditional dip belt that just wasn't cutting it.
It's clear a lot of thought and engineering went into this design.
I can get a great leg workout with just this attachment!
The built is definitely well made but the fit isn’t right for me. Even with max tightness I find the belt dragging down my shorts. I need to give it some more practice.
As I've written this the score has gradually fallen from 4 stars (for the belt itself) to 2 stars for the belt + missing overpriced ropes. I just do split squats with the black ropes that came with my bar but the economics on this thing is horrible. I wouldn't actually recommend it to anyone.
My wife and I really wanted to love this, however no matter how tight we adjusted the belt both of us could not get it to stay up. I had to tighten it to the point it was painful and still would not stay up.
The belt itself is constructed very well but unfortunately for us it's unusable.
I wrote the company through Instagram and suggested that the make the belt with a heavy duty suspender over the shoulders which would be a total game changer. Good news is that the response I got was that they are considering it. If they were to make that change I would purchase again.
Overall Harambe makes fantastic products but this one fell short
Belt built well. Couple issues: the length of the strap could be a few inches longer to make it easier to clip and then tighten (would this be possible?) Also, belt can slip down. When doing two legged squat, it’s hard to get in position. I was able to address this by getting ropes a little longer. Once in position, belt works well.
Amazing Belt! It's perfect for those wanting to do leg day while giving your back a rest or those who really just want to focus on their quads or calfs! Great addition to my harambe collection
With a super intense work schedule, I don’t have a lot of time to do my workouts as often as I would like. The Harambe system allows me to get an intense workout in a short amount of time. Now, with the new squat belt, I can up the intensity an extra notch safely. What a game changer!
Carabiners are basic cheap carabiners that you can get anywhere. It comes without the white-ropes which are basically a most for over the vast majority of people to use this.
It feels more like money-grab than anything else.

Thank you for your feedback! We understand your concerns and want to address them. The carabiners included are high-quality, selected for durability and safety under heavy loads, independently tested—setting them apart from standard options. The white ropes are optional to keep the product adaptable, as many customers already have compatible setups or prefer alternatives.

The belt itself is great. However, I'm a smaller guy and when I tighten it properly, the side panels end up being front panels and interfere with the movements on both regular and split squats. Unfortunately, that makes it not a "one size" product. Maybe future versions will come in 3 or 4 sizes.
Takes the stress off the shoulders and back when doing squats and calf raises. Top notch durable strong quality. Would like to see a belt extender or larger waist size (42"or larger) for us heavier guys.
Excellent quality. I really like the quick release of the seat belt buckle as it allows you to drop the belt quick after a set. I did squats followed by calf raises with the white ropes and regular rods and the workout went great!
I love the belt. Great quality and overbuilt, as are all Harambe products. That's why I bought them, after all.
The only downside of the belt is that the black ropes aren't long enough. The other ropes I have (green and blue) are too short and too long, so I ordered the white ropes. I can't wait for them to come in so I can fully explore the belt.
I'm in pretty decent shape, and am young enough that I can use the black ropes(though it takes some effort), but I think the white ropes will be a game changer. As someone who has bad knees and an achy back lately, the belt combined with the white ropes will be a literal game changer when it comes to working my lower body.
A word to Khalid and the gang, I would be a little more upfront about needing the white (maybe yellow?) ropes with the belt. I'd probably even look into bundling them, just for a more straightforward approach, which I know is what the company stands for.
Love Harambe, and love the belt!
This thing sucks. Now I have to purchase longer ropes to use this thing because my knees are shot and I cannot bend down on the ground to put the stupid belt on. Wish I never pre-ordered this thing.
I have no complaints on your other products as they work great this thing obviously is not for people with disabilities in their legs.

While we do recommend using white ropes for squats on the product page to alleviate getting into a deep squat to load, we understand this may not have been clear or convenient in your situation.
